We are excited for you to join us at our 2nd annual Microbiome Research Symposium, hosted by The Microbiome Center! This year's symposium will be held on Friday, April 5th from 9am - 5pm, followed by a reception with dinner ending around 8pm. The symposium will be on the UChicago campus in GCIS W301/W303. Lunch & coffee will also be provided. The purpose of this symposium is to build a strong local community of microbiome researchers by sharing research with each other to trigger inspiration and more collaboration across different microbial systems and research labs. This is a totally free event, and we welcome everyone to apply to present either a short talk or a poster at our symposium! Talks will be chosen based on abstracts submitted here, and everyone not chosen for a talk has the opportunity to present a poster. If you would like your poster costs covered by The Microbiome Center, please contact Sofia Weinstein (sweinstein@uchicago.edu) by March 15th.
